Overview

This module provides surgeons with the opportunity to enhance the way in which they teach Medical Students, Foundation Year Doctors, and Surgical Trainees how to perform clinical examinations in surgery and how to communicate with patients. They will be observed teaching clinical examination skills and patient-centred communication skills and receive structured, focused and individualised feedback in order to help them refine their skills as surgical educators.

The learner can access this static module, which is offered within the Doctors Academy Virtual Online Platform (VOP), at the time and in the place that best suit him/her. Access to the module is unlimited, and it is granted for 12 months.

A certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the module.
